New to the range: Vikorn Volvezel/Fullfibres

In the Netherlands Zeelandia introduced a line-extension for the popular bread Vikorn: Vikorn Volvezel (FullFibre). This tasty multigrainbread can claim to be rich in fibres and contains, like the regular Vikorn, vitamins B1, B2, B12 & C.

In the Netherlands - and also in other countries -  there is an increasing interest in fibres, since  most people do not reach their daily recommended intake. Fibres are proven to be healthy. The baked Vikorn Volvezel contains over 6 grams of fibres per 100 gram bread.

The mix-product is Panomix Vikorn Volvezel, this level of high fibres can not be reached with the international more common 20/80 version of Vikorn. This new variety of Vikorn is also a bit darker than the original Vikorn and can also be used to make sandwich buns.
