A step up from oil

We helped a mid-sized bakery in Taiwan save time and money by providing a total releasing solution

In many smaller and mid-sized bakeries around the world, plain sunflower or palm oil is used as a release agent. However, even a fairly basic specialized release agent produces superior results. We helped a mid-sized bakery in Taiwan save time and money by providing a total solution comprising the Carlo release agent and automated spraying equipment.

Cost savings and damage prevention
Carlo is a white emulsion consisting of water and oil, with considerably more releasing power than plain vegetable oil. In combination with the accurate ZB1500, a semi-automatic spraying machine, our customer was able to achieve better results using only one-sixth of the amount of release agent previously needed. This represents substantial cost savings. These are further boosted by the fact that the new setup helps prevent damage to bread tins, since no force is needed to release loaves.
