Zeelandia nominated for the King Willem I Award 2016

We are very proud that Koninklijke Zeelandia Groep has been nominated for the King Willem I Award 2016 in the category ‘Large Enterprises’. Together with Koninklijke Philips N.V. and Koninklijke Vopak N.V., we are now in the running to win this prestigious business award, also known as the Oscars for the Dutch corporate sector. The winners will be announced during an award ceremony on Thursday, 26 May. Her Majesty Queen Máxima, honorary president of the King Willem I Foundation, intends to attend the ceremony and announce the winner.

The board of the King Willem I Foundation: ‘The motto of the Koninklijke Zeelandia Groep is: Creating Possibilities. It is all about quality, inspiration and innovation. This is precisely in line with the objectives of the King Willem I Foundation. The company demonstrated its courage and determination. In 2015 they invested in a new modern production facility in Ukraine, despite the persistent uncertainty in the country. The nomination of the Koninklijke Zeelandia Groep is therefore highly deserved.’
